Austrian Foreign Ministry issues updated security advice for Belgium after spike in metro shootings
On 2 May the Austrian Foreign Ministry updated its Belgium travel page, warning of daily firearm incidents near Brussels’ Gare du Midi and advising heightened vigilance. Although the security level stays at ‘2’, firms should ensure travellers register via the Auslandsservice-App and carry valid IDs and consent letters for minors.
