Peruvians Traveling To India
Peru may be over two thousand miles away from India, but Peruvians who like to travel for business or pleasure consider India one of their top destinations. India has a budding economy and a host of tourist landmarks and sites that attract millions of visitors.
Before 2014, any foreign national with the intention to visit India has to visit the Indian consulate in their country to apply for a visa. The same is the case but only for conventional visas. The government introduced a new electronic travel authorization scheme (ETA), also called E visa.
The e visa is obtained online and not physically. The applicant goes online, fills out the application form, and their visa will be sent to their email if approved; it is that simple. Furthermore, e visas only take between 3-5 days to be approved, making them ideal for emergency trips.
