This document needs to be authenticated by a Public Notary and should be addressed to The Consulate General in Houston.

  • Personal letter. Statement authenticated by a Public Notary indicating that applicant agrees to abide by Angolan laws.

  • Police clearance. Notarized Police Clearance Certificate authenticated by the Department of State stating that applicant has no pending criminal proceedings.

  • Vaccination certificate. International Vaccination Certificate or Medical Certificate of Health.

  • Diploma. Diploma or Certificate of Achievement.

  • Resume. A copy of the applicant's current resume.

  • Authorization Letter. Authorization by the by Ministério de Tutela and opinion issued by the Ministry for Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPESS-Ministero da Administração Publica, Emprego e Segurança Social).

  • Embassy fee. An Embassy fee of $300 must be paid at the time of appointment.

  • Visa application form. Two fully completed and signed application forms.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

    Angola's borders are closed for leisure travel, and entry is possible for permitted reasons only.
    This does not apply to:
    - nationals and residents of Angola;
    - passengers with a work permit issued by Angola;
    - passengers returning via Angola to their country of residence.
    Prior to arrival requirements
    Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.

    Air passengers must show proof of a Negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to arrival.
