  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page of your valid, signed passport.

  • Bank statement (per day). A copy of the applicant's bank statement for the current month showing at least $200 for each day of stay. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement. This document is not requested if the Letter of invitation states that they will be responsible for your stay.

  • Proof of accommodation. A copy of hotel reservations or other lodgings for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on the reservation.

  • Business invitation. A notarized business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Angola. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to the Embassy of Angola, Consular Section (2100-2108 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009), and signed by a senior manager. The Letter from the private enterprise sponsoring the visa applicant must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Angola. Please include the following documents:
    Evidence of the legal establishment of the company, a copy of the business permit, a copy of evidence of payment of current taxes (industrial payment tax for the current year);
    A copy of the company’s publication page in the Diário da República (official gazette of the republic);
    Identification of the person signing the letter (B.I. - Bilhete de Identidade or passport if the signer is an Angolan citizen, or passport with Angolan visa if the signer is a foreigner).

  • Embassy Fee. An Embassy fee must be paid at the time of appointment.

  • Yellow fever . A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever. To learn more about the yellow fever vaccination or to locate a vaccination clinic, please visit the CDC's yellow fever resource page .

  • Personal Letter. A notarized letter with a request to issue a visa addressed to the Consular Section or the Embassy of Angola. Please, indicate your name, the purpose of your trip, your contact in Angola, the dates of your planned trip, and places to be visited.

  • Embassy Fee. An Embassy fee of $70 must be paid at the time of appointment.

  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.
