Gig-economy health platform makes Home Office “Share Code” checks mandatory from January
Healthcare staffing app Locate a Locum will require all non-UK/Irish workers to generate a Home Office Right-to-Work Share Code before accepting shifts, starting January 2027. The 26 May announcement shows digital status checks spreading into the gig-economy, tightening compliance expectations for employers and agency platforms alike.
