Macao has already recorded 100 million border crossings for 2026—two weeks ahead of last year—with over 10 million of those passengers using the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge. Authorities will add more automated lanes and iris-recognition gates to cope with demand, a development that will further streamline business travel between Hong Kong, Macao and Zhuhai.
