Finnish Government to Establish Legally Binding Income Thresholds for Family Reunification
Finland will replace internal guidelines with a legally binding decree that sets explicit euro-denominated income thresholds for family-reunification residence permits. Scheduled for adoption in late 2026, the change will give applicants and employers clearer targets but could raise costs for lower-paid transferees who wish to bring dependants.
