Hong Kong and Dongguan ink landmark agreement to build Greater Bay Area sustainable aviation-fuel hub
Hong Kong and Dongguan signed an MOU to create the Greater Bay Area’s first end-to-end sustainable-aviation-fuel supply chain, turning waste cooking oil into SAF for use at Hong Kong International Airport. The pact promises streamlined cross-boundary logistics and positions Hong Kong-based carriers and corporate flight departments to lower their carbon footprints once production begins in 2027.
