Ryanair brings forward airport bag-drop closure as EU Entry/Exit System slows queues
Ryanair will close airport check-in and bag-drop desks 60 minutes before departure—rather than 40 minutes—from 10 November, the airline confirmed on 23 April. The Irish carrier says the earlier cut-off gives passengers extra time to clear longer border queues created by the EU’s new biometric Entry/Exit System. Mobility programmes using Ryanair for intra-EU rotations should adjust itineraries and traveller guidance accordingly.
