Austria issues Level-4 travel warning for six Gulf states and relocates embassy staff from Tehran
Austria’s foreign ministry has raised the security level for Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE to Level 4, officially warning against travel and relocating its Tehran embassy staff. The advisory triggers insurance and duty-of-care obligations for Austrian companies with expatriates in the Gulf and halts most consular services for Iranians bound for Austria.
