• Personal belongings needed for your trip (clothing, footwear, sports equipment, toiletries, usual medicines and similar items not intended for sale).
• Mobile devices set up for personal use, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone (not new devices bought abroad to leave in Serbia).
• Tobacco: 50 cigarettes or 25 cigarillos (up to 3 g each) or 10 cigars or 50 g of smoking tobacco, or a proportional combination of these. E-cigarettes, vapes, nicotine pouches and hookah flavours are allowed in quantities for personal use.
• Alcohol: 1 L of spirits or 1 L of sparkling or liqueur wine (or a combination of these), plus 1 L of other wine. Beer and olive oil have no fixed limit but must clearly be for personal use.
• Perfume: 1 perfume (up to 50 ml) and 1 eau de toilette (up to 25 ml).
• Food in reasonable quantities for personal or family use, in the original manufacturer's packaging. Food of animal origin is limited to 1 kg.
• Serbian travelers may also bring in other goods for personal use worth up to EUR 100 duty free.
Currency
• There is no limit on the amount of money you may bring into Serbia.
• Cash of EUR 10,000 or more (in dinars or any foreign currency) must be declared to customs on arrival on the Cash Declaration Form. The limit applies to each traveler, including children. Keep the certified form: without it, the amount above EUR 10,000 may be seized when you leave.
• Dinars worth more than EUR 10,000 may be brought in only if bought from a foreign bank, with that bank's receipt.
• Payment cards may be brought in freely.

Restricted
• Weapons and ammunition need a permit from the Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade. Hunting weapons and ammunition may be brought in temporarily only for organized hunts or shooting competitions, with an invitation or proof of the event; they must be declared on arrival and listed on the supporting document for the verbal declaration.
• Drones: depending on the model, a permit from the Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade may be required. A drone brought in temporarily must be declared at the border and listed on the Accompanying Document (2 copies).
• Medicines for personal use (or for an accompanying animal) covering up to 15 days of treatment need no medical documents. For a larger supply (up to 6 months), for medicines containing controlled psychoactive substances, or for more than 1 package of up to 30 doses, get an approval from the competent ministry before travel.
• Pets (dogs, cats, ferrets): each pet needs a microchip and a rabies vaccination given at least 21 days before travel (first vaccination). Pets from the EU and similar countries travel with an EU pet passport; pets from other listed countries need an official veterinary certificate; pets from non-listed countries also need a rabies antibody (titer) test of at least 0.5 IU/ml, taken at least 30 days after vaccination and 3 months before travel. Other pets need a veterinary certificate. See the Veterinary Directorate (vet.minpolj.gov.rs).
• Endangered or protected animals and plants (CITES) need a permit from the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
• Plants: small quantities for personal use from EU countries (for example up to 5 kg of fruit and vegetables, excluding potatoes, or up to 3 house plants, excluding bonsai) do not need a phytosanitary certificate.
• Jewelry, luxury watches, precious stones and investment gold (bars, plates, coins) should be declared to customs to avoid seizure.
• Personal items brought in temporarily (such as valuable equipment) should be declared on arrival; items of considerable value are listed on the Accompanying Document.
• Goods above the duty-free allowances must be declared in the red channel. Goods worth up to EUR 3,000 can be cleared at the border at a flat 10% customs duty plus VAT (usually 20%).
