Greater Bay Area opens more freely to Hong Kong and Macau yachts
Beijing has abolished the costly guarantee previously required for Hong Kong and Macau yachts entering the mainland section of the Greater Bay Area and introduced a temporary ship-nationality certificate that simplifies customs and immigration formalities. The change slashes cross-boundary compliance costs, is expected to boost leisure and corporate yacht traffic, and strengthens Hong Kong’s integration with neighbouring GBA cities.
