From 11 May 2026 until the end of the year, holders of ordinary Chinese passports can enter Brazil visa-free for tourism, business and other short-term activities for up to 30 days per year. The waiver, based on reciprocity, eliminates lengthy consular processing and is expected to boost tourism and bilateral trade flows.
