EU Confirms ETIAS Fee to Rise to €20, Hitting Visa-Exempt Travellers to Italy
Brussels has announced that the ETIAS travel authorisation fee will double to €20 when the system launches in late 2026. The higher cost will apply to visa-exempt visitors to Italy and other Schengen countries, adding a new line item to corporate-travel budgets and signalling rising user-pays funding for EU border technology.
