Polish Embassy in Manila releases February visa-appointment slots as demand surges
The Polish Consular Section in Manila quietly updated its e-Konsulat page on 2 February, publishing a fresh batch of appointment slots for national-(D)-visa applicants. Under the revised schedule, time-stamped booking windows open at 11:00 a.m. local time on 2, 9 and 23 February for submission dates between 16–27 February at both the Metro Manila and Cebu BLS Visa Application Centres.

The embassy stopped accepting walk-in visa dossiers in mid-2025, outsourcing all intakes to BLS International. Since then, demand from Filipino engineers and shipyard workers heading to Poland’s booming offshore-wind and IT sectors has outstripped supply, with online slots often disappearing in under 60 seconds. February is typically high season as universities finalise spring-semester exchange places and cruise-line staff prepare for Europe’s summer season.

VisaHQ’s Poland desk can help applicants and corporate mobility teams stay ahead of these lightning-fast releases by pre-reviewing documents, sending real-time slot alerts, and arranging courier pick-ups through its Manila support hub. Consular officials warn applicants not to pay third-party ‘fixers’ who advertise guaranteed slots on social media. The embassy reiterated that registrations are free and that anyone caught using scripted bots risks black-listing. The notice also lists a Philippine holiday on 17 February, compressing effective processing days and potentially pushing passport-return dates into March.

For corporate mobility teams the key takeaway is to coordinate employee bookings precisely at release time, have digital copies of supporting documents ready for upload, and factor in the Schengen processing standard of 15 days plus courier time. Employers should also budget for the higher consular fee of €90 introduced on 1 January — a hike of nearly 13 %.
