Biometric Border Checks Postponed—Czech Eurostar Travellers Get Temporary Reprieve
France has delayed introducing full biometric checks at Channel crossings, meaning Czech passengers on Eurostar, ferries and the Shuttle will not face new EES procedures this Easter. The stay is temporary—full activation is still slated for 10 April—so Czech companies should prepare for longer immigration queues later in the month. Prague Airport is readying 36 kiosks and cross-training staff to cope with the change.
