South Korea Extends Multiple-Entry Visas for Chinese Citizens to 5–10 Years
From 1 April 2026, Chinese nationals can obtain South Korean multiple-entry visas valid for five or, in many cases, ten years. The longer validity, combined with an ongoing visa-free pilot for group tourists, lowers administrative costs for Chinese companies and is expected to lift corporate and leisure travel volumes between the two neighbours.
Immigration Authority Projects 11 % Rise in Cross-Border Trips During Qingming Holiday
The NIA projects more than 2.3 million daily border crossings during the 4–6 April Qingming holiday, up 11 % year-on-year. Airports and land ports are activating extra e-gates and staff to cope, and companies are advised to plan travel and logistics schedules around the surge.
