Smartraveller warns of global protest and terror risk linked to Middle-East war
DFAT’s Smartraveller service has published a global security alert warning that unrest and terrorism linked to the Iran war could erupt worldwide. Australians abroad are advised to monitor local conditions, avoid protests and register with DFAT if in seven high-risk Middle-East countries. The advisory is prompting companies to tighten travel approvals and travellers to rethink itineraries.
