Azerbaijan grants visa-free entry to Hong Kong passport holders for one-year pilot

Starting 2 February 2026, HKSAR passport holders can enter Azerbaijan visa-free up to three times within a year, staying 30 days per trip. The waiver lifts the SAR passport’s visa-free/VOA count to 175 destinations and is expected to boost Belt-and-Road project work, trade missions and high-end leisure travel between Hong Kong and the Caucasus state.
