The European Employment Services (EURES) network has issued a maintenance alert for its Czech-language portal, warning users of a planned outage on 23 November from 17:45 to 22:30 CET. During this five-hour window job-seekers and employers will be unable to search vacancies, upload CVs or download mobility-guidance documents.
Although a routine IT intervention, the downtime comes at a sensitive time for companies racing to finalise 2026 hiring pipelines. Many employers rely on EURES to advertise trainee and graduate positions that qualify for EU intra-company-transfer permits or Czech Blue Cards. Mobility teams should therefore download any critical postings or candidate profiles before the blackout.
The Ministry of Labour says the upgrade will introduce a faster search algorithm and new filters for remote-work roles, aligning with the government’s push to attract highly skilled digital nomads. An API for corporate applicant-tracking systems is slated for early 2026, allowing HR departments to sync EURES listings directly.
Service will resume automatically after 22:30. Users experiencing issues are advised to clear browser caches or contact the EURES help-desk. No additional outages are planned this quarter.
