Frankfurt is home to the European Central Bank and more than 300 foreign banks, making it a frequent destination for Ireland-based financial-services executives. Until now, those travellers relied on the embassy in Berlin for emergency passports or notarisation. The Frankfurt office will issue out-of-hours travel documents and host IDA Ireland “soft-landing” seminars for firms eyeing German market entry.
