Malaysia Bets on Expanded China Air Links to Drive ‘Visit Malaysia 2026’
Tourism Minister Tiong King Sing said on 2 March that Chinese airlines will retain boosted frequencies to Malaysia through winter 2025/26, underpinning plans for ‘Visit Malaysia 2026’. Coupled with mutual 30-day visa waivers, the expanded network should accelerate Chinese leisure and MICE bookings and give multinationals more routing options between the two countries.
