Hong Kong relaxes e-Channel rules, letting frequent visitors use fast-track gates after just two trips
Effective 27 February 2026, foreign visitors who have flown into Hong Kong International Airport at least twice in the past 24 months can register for the automated e-Channel service. The Immigration Department also removed fingerprint requirements for e-passport holders, promising faster processing and shorter queues for business travellers.
