Government proposes 33 % increase in domestic and overseas business-travel allowances
A draft regulation unveiled on 25 February 2026 lifts Poland’s statutory per-diem for domestic business trips from PLN 45 to PLN 60 and raises hotel and meal allowances for key foreign destinations. Because private employers cannot pay less than the state schedule, corporate travel budgets and assignment policies must be updated before the rules take effect, likely in March.
