EU and Czech Interior Ministry launch fast-track municipal grants to integrate protection holders
On 16 February 2026 the Czech Interior Ministry opened a fast-track grant call—spotlighted by the European Commission—offering municipalities up to 90 % funding for language, employment and childcare projects that aid Ukrainian and other protection holders. Applications close 17 February and funds must be used by end-2026, giving local authorities and employers an immediate opportunity to co-finance integration services that reduce labour-market bottlenecks.
