Austrian Chamber of Commerce urges ‘rapid, digital’ rollout of new Red-White-Red Card rules
Austria’s top business lobby has endorsed the government’s new Skilled-Labour Strategy but demands immediate, fully digital reforms to the Red-White-Red Card. WKÖ wants 4-week statutory decision deadlines, inclusion of labour-leasing companies and extra funding for immigration offices, arguing that without rapid execution firms will remain short-staffed.
