Road closures and drone ban announced for EU Council Presidency launch in Nicosia
Ahead of Wednesday’s ceremony marking Cyprus’ EU Council Presidency, police will close a swathe of central-Nicosia roads from 14:30 and enforce a blanket drone ban around the THOK building. Corporate visitors should expect diversions, limited parking and heavier demand for taxis, and may wish to shift meetings out of the city centre.
