U.S.–Cyprus Strategic Dialogue Sets 2026 Visa-Waiver Target
Washington and Nicosia have launched a Strategic Dialogue that will serve as the main platform for clearing the final hurdles to Cyprus’ inclusion in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program. Officials aim to resolve outstanding security and data issues in time for a Department of Homeland Security audit in 2026, potentially ending the need for Cypriots to obtain B-type visas for short U.S. trips.
