Nationwide ITA Airways and rail strikes announced for mid-February threaten business travel
Unions representing ITA Airways crews, Milan ground handlers and national-rail staff have scheduled 24-hour strikes on 16 and 27–28 February, threatening flight cancellations and train delays nationwide. Guaranteed minimum services will run, but most business-travel itineraries fall outside protected windows. Companies should prepare alternative routing and remote-work contingencies.
