China’s Ministry of Commerce unveils new push to boost inbound spending and travel-service exports
China’s Ministry of Commerce said on 6 February that it will draft a new policy package to enlarge duty-free quotas, enhance digital visa and payment services and otherwise encourage foreigners to spend more in China, while also boosting the export of Chinese travel-service products. For corporates, the initiative promises smoother business-travel logistics and fresh opportunities in retail, hospitality and MICE.
