Polish military tracks new wave of Belarusian ‘balloon’ incursions overnight
Poland’s armed forces reported yet another overnight incursion by balloon-like objects from Belarus on 1 February 2026, the fourth such episode in a week. While the latest objects posed no direct threat, each launch forces air-defence alerts, disrupts border operations and magnifies business-travel and supply-chain risk in northeastern Poland.
