São Paulo exceeds two million issuances of the new National Identity Card, easing future airport ID checks
On 31 January São Paulo’s digital-services agency confirmed it has produced over two million National Identity Cards (CIN). The biometric-enabled document links directly to the gov.br app, streamlining compliance with new QR-code boarding rules and signalling that companies should accelerate employee conversion from legacy RG IDs.
