Guangzhou and Dongguan care homes added to Hong Kong’s cross-border elderly-care subsidy scheme
From February 1 two more Greater Bay Area care homes—one in Guangzhou, one in Dongguan—will accept Hong Kong seniors under the government-subsidised Residential Care Services Scheme, expanding the cross-border network to 26 facilities and easing pressure on the city’s long care-home queues.
