European carriers – including Lufthansa – suspend Gulf routes amid U.S.–Iran tensions
Bloomberg reports that Lufthansa and other European airlines have suspended or rerouted Gulf services because of heightened U.S.–Iran tensions. Lufthansa has cancelled Tehran flights until late March and shifted East-Mediterranean departures to daylight operations only. The move lengthens flight times, adds cost for German exporters and highlights the need for robust crisis-response planning.
