Because Epiphany is a Finnish public holiday, Finnish embassies, visa centres and immigration offices worldwide are closed on 6 January 2026. Passport emergencies, permit collections and visa submissions will only resume on 7 January, so employers should adjust travel and onboarding timelines accordingly.
