Spain and Oman ratify mutual visa-free travel for diplomatic and service passports
Oman has published Royal Decree 3/2026 ratifying a November 2025 agreement with Spain that abolishes visas for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports. The visa-free regime, effective immediately, will ease official travel linked to defence and energy projects and reflects Spain’s wider strategy of deepening relations with Gulf partners.
