ÖBB and Austrian Airlines Launch Klagenfurt–Vienna AIRail Link, Replacing Feeder Flights with High-Speed Rail
On 15 December ÖBB and Austrian Airlines formally launched an AIRail service between Klagenfurt and Vienna Airport, offering seven daily Railjet Xpress trains that integrate with Austrian’s global network. The multimodal product replaces short-haul feeder flights, cuts emissions and gives corporates a weather-resilient alternative for southern Austria.
