Chinese Embassy to Launch Full Online Visa Application System in India on 22 December
Beijing will reopen its visa “window” in India by shifting to a fully online application platform from 22 December 2025. The system—closed since 2020 border clashes—will simplify paperwork for Indian tourists, students and business travellers and is expected to accelerate the recovery of bilateral mobility. Companies should align internal processes with the new e-submission requirements to capitalise on faster approvals.
