Prague’s Pankrác Hub to Re-open 19 December, Restoring Key Metro Link for Commuters and Expat Workers

The Prague transport authority confirmed on 7 December that Pankrác station on Metro Line C will reopen on 19 December after an 11-month, CZK 1.1 bn modernisation. The upgrade restores a critical link for multinational offices clustered around the hub and builds a new concourse for cross-platform transfers to future driver-less Line D. The early completion will cut peak-hour commutes by up to 15 minutes and is expected to boost productivity and retail footfall in the district.
