Canada Hikes IEC and Immigration Fees — Hongkongers Face Higher Costs to Work or Travel
Effective 1 December 2025, Canada has increased fees for International Experience Canada work permits and a range of inadmissibility-related immigration services. Hong Kong IEC applicants will now pay CAD184.75, while other applications rise sharply to as much as CAD1,231. Employers and mobility managers should adjust budgets, top-up existing paper filings and brief staff on the higher costs to work or travel in Canada.
