Cyprus and IOM launch €1.1 million Assisted Voluntary Returns hub
Cyprus has signed a €1.1 million deal with the International Organization for Migration to open a 40-bed Assisted Voluntary Returns Hub, providing counselling and logistics for vulnerable migrants who choose to go home. The facility supports the island’s ‘returns-first’ migration policy and will ease pressure on crowded reception centres.
