Málaga’s Low-Emission Zone to Start €200 Fines on 30 November
Málaga will begin issuing €200 fines to high-polluting vehicles entering its Low-Emission Zone from 30 November, ending a year of grace warnings. The 437-hectare zone uses 130 cameras to enforce Spain’s national emissions-sticker system, with limited exemptions and no leeway for foreign plates. Business travellers and expatriates must ensure their vehicles—rental or private—carry the correct B, C, ECO or Zero sticker or risk on-the-spot penalties.
