Switzerland and Schengen Partners to Raise ETIAS Fee to €20 from 2026
From 1 January 2026 the cost of an ETIAS travel authorisation for visa-exempt visitors to Switzerland will rise from €7 to €20. Swiss authorities say the extra revenue will finance cybersecurity and system upgrades, while business-travel groups note that the three-year validity keeps the per-trip impact low. Mobility teams should adjust budgets for 2026 projects.
