Prague remained the magnet with more than 2 million visitors, but regional hotspots—led by Český Krumlov, Karlovy Vary and Olomouc—posted double-digit growth in overnight stays.
The longer visits are attributed to the weak Czech koruna against the euro and dollar, which has enhanced value perception for Western tourists, and to aggressive airline route expansion: Prague Airport added 12 seasonal routes this summer, including three long-haul charters to East Asia and North America.
