Complete The Application Form
Complete the application form by providing your personal details accurately. Some of the personal details include your full name, passport details, travel information, nationality, etc. Endeavor to provide only valid information, as incorrect data may lead to application rejection or deportation.
Passport: A US passport with at least 6 months of validity is required. Scan and upload the bio page and the last page of the passport booklet.
Email Address: Provide a current email address you can access. This is the only way to receive the e-visa once it is approved.
Photograph: A colored photograph taken on a white background is required. Only recent photos are accepted.
Debit or Credit Card: A debit or credit card for the online payment of the visa application fee.
Yellow Fever Vaccination: All visitors coming to Uganda must have received a yellow fever vaccination and a certificate to prove it. This certificate should be uploaded on the form and also brought to the airport for review. Those without this certificate may be quarantined for a while at the airport.
Travel Itinerary: Your travel Itinerary will be requested, showing your name and indicating your plans. Your hotel reservation and a return ticket to the US may also be requested.
Invitation Letter: Those arriving for family visits or short business trips may be asked to present an invitation letter to serve as proof.
Once the single entry or multiple entry visas is approved and forwarded to your email, print it out and bring a copy for the trip, as immigration officers will request it at Entebbe airport along with your passport.
