Passport

A copy of their passport is scanned and uploaded to the application form. The passport must have at least 6 months left before it expires, counting from the arrival date on the Island. The applicant must scan and upload the bio page.

Email Address

An email address is required to receive the passport. PNG e visa is strictly online, and the visa is forwarded to the recipient via the designated email address they provide.

Letter of Invitation

An invitation letter is necessary if a PNG national or permanent resident inviting you to the Island for whatever purpose. The letter must be addressed to you and clearly state the reasons for your visit. The letter must also show the contact address of the individual or entity inviting you to Papua New Guinea.

Vaccination Certificate

Citizens of some countries are expected to provide vaccination certificates for COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc. Find out if your country is on the list.

Bank Card

Bank debit or credit card containing sufficient funds to cover the visa fee. Applicants must ensure that the card contains enough funds and cover the application fee and the transaction cost.

Return Air Ticket

A copy of the return Air ticket must be uploaded to prove that the applicant intends to return to their home country after their business or expiration of the visa.

Bank Statement

A Bank statement covering the last 6 months and proving that the applicant has the financial capacity to cover their travel costs and living expenses.

Print Out The Visa Once It Is Approved

PNG e visas take a few working days before they are approved. Once your e-visa is approved, print it out and keep it safely. On the day of your trip, bring it along with you and present it to the immigration officers at the entry point alongside other documents for review.
