Egypt visa for Malaysian

An Egypt visa for Malaysian is required for citizens of Malaysian citizens who wish to visit the ancient civilization of Egypt to be close to the birthplace of modern nation-states. While both countries are distant, profound modern technology has even the odds. Furthermore, the Egyptian government has made it easier for foreign nationals to visit the country by introducing different visa programs. One such program is the E-Visa program.

What Is The Egyptian E Visa Program?

The e-visa program was unveiled in December 2017 and was designed to simplify the visa application process for foreigners coming to Egypt for tourism. The application process is done online, so you don’t have to visit the embassy in Kuala Lumpur or any other consular office to submit physical copies of your documents. Currently, more than 70 countries are on the e visa program list, and Malaysia is one of them.

Rather than go through the stress of standing in line waiting for visa interviews with visa officers at the Egypt embassy, you can simply sit in the comfort of your home or office, complete the application form, attach your documents, and submit it for approval. The process takes only about 20 minutes, and you’ll be done. What more? Once you submit them, you should expect your visa in 5 days or less. It’s that fast!!

There are two types of e visas Malaysians can apply for, and they are single entry and multiple-entry visas.

Single Entry Visa

The single-entry e visa for Egypt is valid for only 90 days, and it becomes active the moment your application is approved and forwarded to your email. You can stay in Egypt for up to 30 days, but it can only be used once. Single Entry e visas are ideal for one-time visitors from Malaysia.

Multiple Entry Visa

The multiple-entry e-visa is for visitors from Malaysia who intend to visit Egypt several times in six months. It is valid for 6 months, and the holder can only stay for 30 days; however, the difference is that you can use it more than once until it expires.

Multiple entry visas are for those who wish to visit frequently.
