Domestic link returns: Ryanair revives Bergamo–Pescara flights for winter season
As part of its expanded Milan Bergamo base, Ryanair is reinstating the tri-weekly service between Bergamo and Pescara from 26 October 2025. Flights operate Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, with additional Christmas peaks already filed.

The route reconnects northern Lombardy with Abruzzo after a three-year hiatus and is expected to stimulate both leisure and SME travel; the Chamber of Commerce of Chieti-Pescara notes that 430 Lombard companies have supply-chain links in the region. Journey time by air is 65 minutes versus more than 6 hours by rail, saving project teams valuable time.

Ryanair will use its new 737-8200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft featuring 16 % lower fuel burn, contributing to corporate sustainability targets. Fares start at €19.99, undercutting rail and motorway costs on many dates.

Travel buyers should note that Ryanair has aligned its penalty-free ticket-change window to 48 hours on all domestic Italian flights for the winter period, adding flexibility for last-minute assignment travel.
