Central German airports publish winter schedule; SkyAlps adds Bolzano link
Leipzig/Halle (LEJ) and Dresden (DRS) – the key gateways for Germany’s Central East manufacturing belt – have jointly announced their 2025/-26 winter programme. Effective 26 October 2025, LEJ will serve up to 14 destinations in eight countries, while DRS offers ten destinations in seven countries.

Marabu Airlines tops the leisure charts from Leipzig with up to 28 weekly departures to Antalya, Hurghada and Gran Canaria. Lufthansa keeps corporate travellers connected with five-daily shuttles to its Frankfurt mega-hub, and Austrian maintains near-daily Vienna links. Turkish Airlines’ five-weekly Istanbul feed remains critical for long-haul connections via the Star Alliance network.

Dresden’s headline is SkyAlps’ new twice-weekly Dash 8 service to Bolzano starting 10 December, giving Saxon business and ski travellers a 90-minute hop into South Tyrol. SunExpress lifts Antalya to seven-weekly and Eurowings boosts Düsseldorf to six-weekly, ensuring onward connectivity across Germany and Europe.

For employers with plants in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt the stable schedule means fewer ground transfers to Berlin or Munich and faster access to key suppliers. HR teams should note that the Bolzano route shortens door-to-slope time for assignees and their families – a soft-benefit in retention packages.
