Visa-exempt visitors are excluded from holding visas and are free to stay on the island for as long as they wish.
Visitors coming on cruise ships normally don’t need visas if they will depart on the same day they arrive. However, they must get a visa in advance if they wish to spend more than 24 hours.

Visa-free visitors can stay for 6 months or one month, depending on their nationality, while citizens of other Caribbean islands are free to stay indefinitely.
