Documents Required To Apply For A Costa Rican Visa

Application Form: You need a duly completed application form filled with accurate personal details. The information in the form should match the information in the documents you present; otherwise, your application will be rejected.

Passport: The applicant must present an Indian passport with at least two blank pages, and it must be valid for the next 6 months, counting from the day they plan to arrive in the country. The passport number and other vital details like the issue and expiry date must be provided.

Photocopies: A photocopy of all passport pages

Return Ticket: Return ticket reservation showing the departure date. Applicants should not pay for the ticket unless their visa application is approved.

Proof of financial capacity: A document to show proof of funds, such as a bank statement showing entries for the last 90 days and sufficient balance.

Certificate of clearance: For employed persons, they must provide a certificate of clearance for the period by their employees.

Proof of Residence: Permanent residents of Schengen countries must show their residency permit.
